We are currently in search of life science start-ups in the Bay Area who would like a motivated graduate student for a 5-month project on their team - all student costs covered by the program.
WHY
To encourage Danish students and young Danish researchers to commercialize their research, to spin out companies from universities, and to discoveries into valuable solutions, the International Innovation Project (2IP) sponsored by the Novo Nordisk Foundation will give talented life science students the opportunity to learn and practice these disciplines in Silicon Valley.
WHAT
The International Innovation Project (2IP) is fully sponsored by the Novo Nordisk Foundation will enroll life science graduate students in a 5-month company project in Silicon Valley. The 2IP program is co-developed with the Innovation Centre Denmark, Silicon Valley.
The 5-month research project in a Silicon Valley-based start-up company starts twice a year in August and February.
The program ensures the students "hit the ground running" by providing housing, assistance with visas, covering all costs as well as provide a monthly stipend to cover student's living expenses.

Life science start-up companies based in the Bay Area, California
Having a specific project for the student to work on
Being able to support the student with mentoring during the program
At least 5 full-time employees
