Here at Berkeley Lights, we think cells are awesome! Cells are capable of manufacturing cures for diseases, fibers for clothing, energy in the form of biofuels, and food proteins for nutrition. BLI is seeking a highly motivated and scientifically excellent candidate with experience in developing cell-based assays in immunology to join our Cell Therapy Development team. The candidate will work closely with our application, hardware, and software teams to establish cell therapy workflows using BLI state-of-art single-cell technologies.  This is a hands-on R&D position, where you will have the opportunity to create new capabilities on the Berkeley Lights Platform, taking products from early conception through product launch. Applaud Medical is developing the next generation in treatments for biomineralization-related diseases such as urinary stone disease. The goal is to improve treatment methods, patient experiences and reduce medical costs in the US and all around the world.

The core technology consists of extracorporeal ultrasonic hardware which insonates catheter-placed microbubbles, nucleating cavitation to facilitate the fragmentation and passage of the biomineralization.

CAGE Bio Inc.

CAGE Bio Inc., currently a resident company at Johnson & Johnson Innovation, JLABS based at MBC BioLabs, CA and UNT, Fort Worth, TX, is a clinical-stage startup exploiting its proprietary deep eutectic ionic liquid platform to develop novel products for infection, inflammation, and immunology. Deep eutectic ionic liquids exhibit broad-spectrum antimicrobial action in addition to exceptional solvation and permeation enhancement. Our mission is to develop highly effective products for localized treatment thereby minimizing side effects from systemic exposure.

We focus on developing topical drug products with highly insoluble small molecules as well as with macromolecules such as oligonucleotides and peptides to treat various therapeutic indications. 

The student will be working closely with our R&D team in San Carlos, CAon developing drug product formulations to exploit our deep eutectic ionic liquid platform.
